Welcome to the Official Website of the Office of the Special Envoy on Transnational Crime (OSETC)
The website is tailored to aid the public and policy makers regarding transnational crimes. The website aims to inform and communicate to various policy makers or policy making body relevant to prevention of transnational crimes in setting real-time policy directions.
Specifically, the Office is created under the Executive Order No. 265 s. 2004 (Defining the Approach and Institutional Mechanism for the Government’s Comprehensive Program on Combating Transnational Organized Crime) as another major step in the country’s continuing campaign against borderless crime.
In this current state of technological advancements, the constant need to change and adapt is necessary, henceforth this website is in constant updating so that important talking points and concepts about transnational crime is relayed to your computers and mobile devices swiftly.
Furthermore, the website updating is also in compliance with the Administrative Order No. 39, s. 2013 mandating government agencies to utilize the government web hosting service of the Department of Science and Technology-Information and Communications Technology Office (DOST-ICTO).
Through this avenue, our campaign in combatting transnational crimes become stronger, if not, enhanced backed by relevant program design standards and policy directions.
